Hearing Evaluations
Our comprehensive hearing test includes a thorough evaluation of your hearing and a detailed review of your results with one of our hearing care professionals. This appointment is designed to assess your hearing health, answer your questions, and discuss next steps if needed.
Hearing tests are billed between $65–$100, depending on the specific testing required. We will bill your in-network insurance, and you will be responsible for any portion not covered by your plan.
Please bring a valid photo ID and your insurance card to your appointment.
Please allow 60 minutes for your visit.
Hearing Aid Evaluations
We will discuss the different levels of technology and hearing aid styles available to best suit your lifestyle, hearing needs, and budget. Our providers participate in ongoing training and education to stay up to date with the latest advancements in hearing aid technology, ensuring you receive modern, evidence-based recommendations.
Hearing Aid Fittings
At your hearing aid fitting appointment, you will have the opportunity to trial a set of hearing aids for two weeks with no obligation. During this visit, the hearing aids will be programmed specifically for your unique hearing loss.
We use real-ear measurements to verify proper fitting and performance in your ear canal. Ears are as unique as fingerprints—there is no true one-size-fits-all solution, even if your ear canal is close to average. This verification process ensures your hearing aids are delivering sound accurately and comfortably.
During the appointment, we will also:
- Practice proper insertion and removal
- Review daily use and maintenance
- Answer any questions to help you feel confident using your hearing aids
Our goal is to ensure your hearing aids are comfortable, effective, and tailored specifically to you.
Hearing Aid Repair & Cleaning
Thumb Audiology proudly works with the top six hearing aid manufacturers: Phonak, Oticon, Signia, ReSound, Starkey, and Widex. Our team is committed to doing everything possible to keep your hearing aids performing at their best.
If your manufacturer is not listed, we may still be able to assist with repairs or servicing. Please give us a call to discuss your options—we’re happy to help!
